More than 30 suicide cases every year in Malta – The Headlines: L-Orizzont

L-Orizzont announces the launch of a new foundation to deal with cases of suicidal risk, today the World Day for Suicide Prevention. Founder Mark Xuereb said that the 30 to 40 people in Malta take their own lives every year.

In another story the paper reports that the court decision about the future of the former Paloma Hotel in Buġibba will be made today. The Health Services Department ordered the closure of the property after a raid by the police in August.
