The Times follows up on the €3.5 million that was reportedly disbursed in an out-of-court settlement to 11 victims of the 2015 Paqpaqli Għall-Istrina accident. The newspaper said the Office of the President said that the money did not come out of the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation but did not give any further details.
Another story in The Times says that the campsite in Armier has been given an enforcement notice for a series of breaches, including using static caravans as fixed residencies. The owner of Malta Campsite is contesting the charges and an appeal will be heard in court in December.
