The Times says that Mount Carmel hospital set up beds in corridors in response to the shortage of wards. The Union of Midwives and Nurses instructed members to refuse adding any new beds.
The Times reports that migrants living in the tent village in Ħal Far have been given an eviction notice of two weeks, with new migrant arrivals expected. Residents speaking to the paper said that it will be ‘very hard’ for them to find places to rent.
