Muscat backed Labour Party ‘triumvirate’: The Headlines – Illum

Illum claims that the PL ‘diabolical pact’ MP Robert Abela had publicly denounced, had Joseph Muscat’s blessing. The paper says that a secret meeting decided on a ‘triumvirate’ of Chris Fearne as leader with Abela and Ian Borg as deputies.

Another report covers the official launch of Chris Fearne’s PL leadership campaign on Saturday. The minister laid out his top 10 priorities if he were to become Prime Minister, focusing on conditions of work and housing.

The paper also carries the main outcomes of the testimony given by Melvin Theuma in court this week. The paper says that businessman Yorgen Fenech was being kept informed of developments in the Caruana Galizia ‘to the last detail’.
