Malta – ‘Resident’ Luciano Moggi has voting rights in Malta

A picture of a leaked voting document shows disgraced former Juventus manager Luciano Moggi as being eligible to vote in the Gzira local council elections.

Moggi’s name has been listed on the electoral register.

European residents in Malta, have a right to vote in local and European elections. The elections in Malta are scheduled for May 25th.

The Times reports “It is not yet known when the Italian official managed to obtain a Maltese permit, though his notorious tactics in the past have raised eyebrows in Malta. Mr Moggi had been handed a life ban by the Italian football federation and sentenced to prison for his role in calciopoli.”

Nationalist MP Dr Jason Azzopardi has posted a photo of where the address on the voting document links to, which shows a relatively modest, close to abandoned, household in the Maltese locality.
