A 5.1 earthquake has been registered in France. The epicentre was 5 km from Chemillé-en-Anjou near the town of Cholet.
The tremors of the earthquake were felt in several parts of the region, including in the cities of Nantes and Angers.
Initial witness reports said that a loud rumblewas heard in some areas with buildings shuddering for a few seconds. In Rennes, about, 83km, from the epicentre, moderate shaking war reported.
So far there no reports of victims or damages
