In the early hours of Friday, the rescue vessel Ocean Viking completed the rescue of 39 people from a distressed boat off the north of the Libyan coast.
“Despite the strong wind and high waves, the survivors, including five women, were saved.” MSF Sea wrot on its Twitter profile.
