On this day, in 2016, the UK voted for Brexit

On this day, in 2016 the UK voted to leave the European Union.

Just over half of the electorate voted for “Brexit”, Britain’s exit from the EU. The UK had been part of the union since 1973.Brexit was expected to take place on March 29th of this year. So far it did not materialise.

Since the referendum took place, the UK entered in one of its most disruptive political chapters in tis history.

In 2018 a children Thai soccer team becomes trapped in a cave. Their rescue kept the world watching as the worst outcome was feared.
