Owner of Totalan (Spain) field where Julen died after falling in well to go on trial for involuntary homicide

David Serrano, the owner of the field in Totalan, where 2 year old Julen died after falling in a well, will be accused of involuntary homicide, for leaving the well open where the boy fell and died.

The judge ordered that the proceedings against the owner of the field take the abbreviated procedure.

In an interview to Telecinco, Serrano said that he considers it unfair to be tried for reckless homicide and criticise harshly Julen’s parents. He said, on that day, there was “my little girl was also there, but my little girl was in the care of her mother. His parents should should have been watching their son. ”
