Parliament fails to present audited accounts: The Headlines – The Times

The Times reveals that the House of Representatives failed to present audited accounts for 2018 because it did not recruit an accountant in time to carry out the job. The paper says that the shortcoming is in breach of parliament’s own rules.

Another story reports that Caritas Malta is collecting funds to stop the eviction of 22 children from third countries whose parents do not meet the income requirements set by Identity Malta. Archbishop Charles Scicluna urged church entities to financially adopt these children.
