Legislative Council discussions on extradition laws descended into chaos as pan-democrat and pro-establishment lawmakers attempted to hold rival meetings of the bills committee in the same room.
The Hong Kong government’s proposed amendments to the extradition law would allow suspects to be sent for trial in jurisdictions with which Hong Kong has no extradition agreement, on a case by case basis, including Mainland China, Macau and Taiwan.
