The Raja Bot market was ordered to shut down for traders to undergo mandatory COVID-19 screenings and to carry out disinfection works after 16 new coronavirus infections were detected. Malaysia allowed certain economic and social activities to resume on 04 May.
According to media reports, the nation has lost approximately 13.3 billion euros (63 billion Malaysian ringgit) since the Movement Control Order (MCO) came into effect on 18 March 2020.
