As West Bengal’s cricket ground Eden Gardens is hosting India’s maiden day-night test cricket match against Bangladesh with a pink ball from 22 November on, many of the city’s prominent buildings have been illuminated in the eye-catching colour.

The first-ever Day-Night match will last for five days in case there is no weather disturbance. Pink Ball cricket is played either totally or partially under floodlight with using a pink coloured ball for the better visibility.
