Latvia saw a new ‘heat record’ this week with air temperatures of up to 13 degrees Celsius measured in some places in Latvia, beating the previous 12.8 degrees Celsius recorded on 01 March 1959.

Temperatures in Latvia are expected to alter between plus 12 to minus 6 degrees Celsius in the upcoming days, according to a five-day forecast by the Latvian Environmental, Geological and Meteorological Center (LVGMC).
