According to news reports, the US Federal Reserve (Fed) has begun to ‘quarantine’ US dollar bills repatriated from Asia to prevent spread of Covid-19 coronavirus.

Regional Fed banks put aside dollar bills returned from Asia for 7 to 10 days before recirculating them in US financial system.
