Photo Story: The two faces of Spain: Fires in the north, floods in the southeast

As Spain mourns the loss of five people who lost their lives in the floods that hit the southeast, in the north fires are ravaging forests.

At least 3,500 have been evacuated from their homes because of the floods that struck south-eastern Spain.

Rivers burst their banks as some areas of Valencia, Murcia and eastern Andalucía saw the heaviest rainfall on record.
