Swedish police are investigating the source of a powerful explosion that damaged buildings in the centre of Linkoping, a town in southern Sweden.
Swedish public radio reported that a large blast had destroyed the windows and balconies of a five-storey residential building and damaged other buildings. Swedish police said a bomb squad was sent to the scene and several people had been taken to hospital after the incident.
