Premier Capital Celebrates 10th McDonald’s Restaurant in Malta, 200th in Europe

Premier Capital has officially opened its 10th McDonald’s restaurant in Malta, a milestone that also marks the group’s 200th restaurant across in Europe.
Located in Mrieħel, the new restaurant will serve central, southern and north-western Malta, offering added convenience through its McDrive and McDelivery service for faster, easier access to fan favourites 24/7.
Premier Capital is the Developmental Licensee for McDonald’s in six markets, operating 200 restaurants across Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece and Romania.

Since opening its first restaurant in Valletta, McDonald’s has continued to develop in the local market through new concepts, upgrades and expanded services, employing nearly 700 people locally.

Premier Capital remains on a strong growth trajectory with total revenue expected to reach over €775 million in 2025, supported by 12,000 employees across its six markets. The company continues to focus on expanding its network, strengthening operations, and investing in its people and infrastructure, with 15 new restaurants planned for 2026.
