The Times reveals that the Prime Minister appointed former Italian minister Sandro Gozi to consult him on his reputation in Europe. The office of the Prime Minister confirmed the engagement of Gozi on a ‘person of trust’ basis.

The Times follows the situation in the UK after an eventful weekend in the House of Commons forcing the Prime Minister to send a letter to the European Council requesting to delay Brexit. The government, however, is adamant that Britain will leave the Union on October 31.
