Pro Brexit MEPs turned their back on proceedings when a jazz ensemble started to play the EU’s anthem Beeethoven’s Ode to Joy.
Other MEPs refused to stand.
Liberal Democrat MEPs have turned up to the first day of the new European parliament session wearing ‘Bollocks to Brexit’ t-shirts.
