Quo Vadis: Trump and the investigations against him

The Associated Press news agency gives a quick but concise look at where investigations related to President Donald Trump stand and what might be in store for him.

Investigations that somewhat overshadowed the Vietnam summit with Korean leader Kim Jong-un especially due to Michael Cohen’s, who was his personal lawyer, damning testimony to Congress.

The AP analysis, in a question and answer style, lists not only Special Counsel Robert Mueller investigation into whether the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia and obstructed the investigation but other cases too.

Amongst them a separate case in New York where Trump is implicated in a crime. The case concerns his personal lawyer Michael Cohen and illegal payments to two women connected to potential sex scandals. New York prosecutors also are looking into Trump’s inaugural fund.
AP’s analysis also takes a look at the question of Russia collusion during the 2016 presidential campaign and transition period. AP also tries to address the question on more than one mind…when will Muller’s investigation may be wrapping up.
