Romania’s Adina-Ioana Vălean has been picked to be the next transport commissioner by Commission President-elect Ursula von der Leyen.
“The president-elect decided for Adina Vălean to take on the portfolio of transport,” a spokesman for the transition team said in a statement, describing Vălean as “an experienced MEP.”
