Romania urges its workers to go back

The government in Bucharest has launched an advertising campaign to encourage workers home. It is putting in place a range of incentives made up of grants and loans in order to achieve this.

Romanian Labour minister Marius-Constantin Budăi in comments to ITV News said: “We want all Romanians to come home if possible”. In comments to ITV News, Budăi said a million jobs await them as Bucharest has its own building boom and unemployment is low in most of the region.
