Rory Stewart eliminated from Tories’ leadership race

Rory Stewart has been eliminated from the Tory leadership race after the third round of voting by Conservative MPs, as Boris Johnson again topped the ballot.

Conservative Party MPs voted again this evening to narrow the field of candidates bidding to lead the party and become the next British prime minister.

Meanwhile Dominic Raab, a former minister knocked out of the race to become British prime minister, backed frontrunner Boris Johnson on Wednesday, telling the Evening Standard newspaper he was the only candidate who would deliver Brexit by Oct. 31.
