Reading Time: < 1 minute

The deputy prosecutor of Agrigento in Sicily,  Salvatore Vella, and the prosecutor Chiara Bisso, after opening a file against unknown persons for abuse of office and fraud, have now entered in the register of suspects among others on the hypothesis of embezzlement,  the former president of the University Consortium, Maltese professor  Joseph Mifsud.

Mifsud is the man at the centre of the Russiagate scandal in the United States.

The prosecutor has now activated the procedures for the notification of the inquiry to the teacher, considered by many a spy whose traces of 2017 have been lost.

The Maltese academic implicated in the leaking of Hillary Clinton’s emails to the Trump campaign and accused of being a spy.
