Sala’s dog pays tribute during player’s funeral

“Nala is waiting for you too” the sister of Emiliano Sala, Romina, had written on Facebook, when nothing was yet known about her brother’s fate.

Nala was the little dog of the Argentine footballer who lost his life while on board the Piper that was supposed to take him from Nantes to Cardiff. In Progreso, his hometown in Argentina, the funeral of the player took place.

And Nala was there, in front of the church entrance, crouched. To wait, perhaps, or to watch for the last time his master.
