The Times leads with the discovery of historical remains of varying degrees of value on the site of the tunnel under development in Santa Luċija. Infrastructure Malta said that the ruins are being preserved for future studies.
Another story in the paper says that 72 of the 86 primary school students who were enrolled in a 20-week emergency programme successfully reached the literacy level expected of children their age. The special programme was introduced for children who teachers felt were falling behind.
