Scandinavians stranded in Peru arrive in Copenhagen

A relative welcome one of the Scandinavians who were stranded in Peru due to COVID-19 upon arrival at the Copenhagen Airport, in Copenhagen, Denmark, 03 April 2020.

On board the SAS flight from Lima, there were approximately 290 passengers, of which 200 are Scandinavian nationals who have been stranded in Peru due to the coronavirus pandemic, since the authorities on 16 March banned all flights to and from Europe for 30 days. The SAS aircraft flew the longest flight ever in the company’s history.
