Reading Time: < 1 minute

More Personal Protective Equipment PPEs for Malta’s frontliners – 2nd planeload arrived in Malta this evening.

This was communicated by Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Chris Fearne through his social media channels.

Earlier today a further 17 persons have recovered from Coronavirus, so that the total number of those who recovered has risen to 303, thus maintaining the tendency for more people to recover rather than contract the virus.

There were 8 persons who tested positive for the virus, after 1,072 tests were carried out in the last hours. 5 out of the 8 cases registered were of persons in the Ħal Far Centre, where there are till now 48 persons who tested positive for thevirus; these are all in good condition. Thus, in Malta those who contracted the virus number 458, but only 151 remain active. The more tests are carried out, the more chance there is to unearth virus-positive persons, so that these may be isolated immediately. To date, more than 30,000 tests have been carried out. All this success continues to be based on all our co-operation by keeping distance from one another, and not leaving our homes in vain.
