The number of people registering as jobless in Spain fell by 4.41% in June from the previous month, or by 166,911 people, leaving 3.61 million out of work, Labour Ministry data showed on Friday, as eased COVID-19 restrictions and rising vaccination rates boosted activity.

The data marks the fourth consecutive month of falling jobless figures and the sharpest one-month reduction since records began in 1996, the Ministry said.
