Speaker promises heightened security: The Headlines – L-Orizzont

L-Orizzont speaks to House Speaker Anġlu Farrugia who said he will take steps to ensure ‘more security’ following protests outside parliament on Wednesday. The paper shows damages to Owen Bonnici’s ministerial car after it was surrounded by protestors that night.

The paper explains that the police can call Yorgen Fenech in for further questioning anytime in the next three months following his release on bail. The paper says that the businessman was considered a ‘person of interest’ in the Caruana Galizia case.
