An earthquake of magnitude 6 struck the Greek island of Crete on Saturday, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
The strong earthquake struck south of the Greek island of Crete on Saturday, was at a relatively shallow depth of 10 km (6 miles), EMSC said.
There were no reports of any damage yet.
The earthquake was also registered in Malta’s Seismic Monitoring and Research Centre.
Several strong after-shocks were also registered.
