Good morning,

The world news scene was ‘overshadowed’ by Trump’s tirades and comments at NATO summit and in Britain. He can easily be dubbed as a the ‘agent of disruption’ and not necessarily in a positive way as his comments, actions and views are indicative of a trait aimed disrupting world order. Malta woke up to the night news about the death of Hugo Chetcuti following the stabbing of last weekend.

Our morning briefing follows.

Chetcuti (1)Entrepreneur Hugo Chetcuti has died six days after he was stabbed in Paceville. Chetcuti, 51, was stabbed twice in the stomach by a former employee. He had been receiving care at Mater Dei Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit, where he underwent a number of surgeries. Orizzont reports that this murder might have ripples in the organised crime world.
