The Hague readies for Dutch farmers protest

The Dutch national defence helps the municipality of The Hague with the closure of roads, as one of the measures ahead of a farmers’ protest in The Hague, the Netherlands.

Tractors were not allowed in the (shopping) area around the Binnenhof.

Hundreds of farmers are expected to arrive in The Hague today to protest about new limits imposed on farmers to bring down nitrogen (greenhouse gas) emissions by reducing livestock numbers.
