The Times says that the soldiers pleaded not guilty but no request for bail was made. In the same incident, two other migrants were wounded with shots from a firearm – Ibrahim Beh from Guinea and Modammed Jallow from Gambia.
The Times also carries the story of a 36-year-old woman who fears going back to homelessness after her landlord doubled her rent without a contract. The woman spent six years in homelessness when she left the family house aged 18.
