The Times of Malta Headlines – Thursday 6th June

The Times reports on a huge rescue operation by the Armed Forces that saved 370 migrants within 12 hours. The paper says that more people in distress were rescued on Wednesday than in the three-year period from 2015 to 2017.

The Times quotes a report by the EU Intellectual Property Office which estimates that Malta loses €100 million to piracy and counterfeit products every year. The value of lost sales stands at more than €200 per person in a year.
