L-Orizzont follows the closure of British travel company Thomas Cook which left 165,000 stranded around the world. The paper says that only one flight was affected at the Malta airport and a group of tourists boarded another flight home.
L-Orizzont quotes Internal Affairs Minister Michael Farrugia at the inter-ministerial meeting who said that the participating countries overcame political problems to deal with migration. He said the process was not easy, but a common agreement was finally reached.
