An Israeli air strike on a military position in central Syria injured three soldiers, possibly Iranian, on Saturday, the official Syrian news agency SANA said.
SANA, citing a military source, said the attack targeted a military position near the town of Masyaf in the Hama province.
Syrian air defences shot down a number of missiles fired from Lebanese airspace, with the Israel Air Force planes firing at the Syrian positions from Lebanese airspace.

The Syrian opposition reports that the sites are used by Iranian and Hezbollah forces.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said the Israeli air strikes hit three targets, wounding 17 Syrian soldiers.
It said there were also deaths, but it was not immediately clear how many were killed and whether they were Iranians or Iran-sponsored fighters.
It said the strikes targeted the Accounting School as well as a missile development centre in a village near Masyaf and a nearby military base run by Iran-backed fighters.
