Trump says Putin has ‘gone absolutely crazy’
Former U.S. President Donald Trump criticised Russian President Vladimir Putin following what Ukraine described as the largest drone assault since the war began.
Posting on Truth Social, Trump said, “Putin has gone absolutely CRAZY!” and warned that his full-scale ambitions in Ukraine could ultimately lead to Russia’s downfall.
The comments came after Ukraine reported over 350 drones and multiple missiles launched in a single night. Trump also took aim at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, accusing him of making statements that “cause problems” and urging him to tone down his rhetoric.
The Ukrainian air force said the third Russian aerial attack in a row hit targets in five locations, but did not elaborate, implying military damage.
A 14-year-old boy was injured in the Black Sea region of Odesa. Residential buildings and industrial facilities were damaged in western Ukraine, officials said.
