Tunisia detects first cases of British coronavirus variant

Tunisia has recorded its first cases of a highly contagious variant of the coronavirus first identified in Britain, the health ministry announced.

The ministry did not give further details.

Tunisia has reported 233,669 infections from Covid-19, 8,022 deaths and 198,778 recoveries.
