Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu has disclosed that Ankara had agreed to a Russian proposal on joint work to end the war in Libya.

The Turkish minister explained during his participation in the Doha Forum that “Russian President, Vladimir Putin suggested working jointly in Libya, and we agreed to that,” insisting that Libya is not a zone of competition between the two countries.

He confirmed that differences on the Libyan situation do exist with Moscow, but Ankara is on good terms with Moscow, and this will allow productive work in this regard, according to the minister.
