Two British men have died after falling from a beach promenade in the Spanish seaside city of Alicante.
Spanish media have reported that the accident happened on Wednesday night when three Britons, believed to be in their 20s, were on the promenade of Punta Prima – an elevated area with a railing that runs around the beach
According to El Mundo, the men were trying to take a selfie on the other side of the railing when two of them fell from a height of 10m to 20m (32ft to 65ft).
One man died at the scene, while the other died from his injuries after being airlifted to hospital.
