Ukraine expects to get 16 bln euro in 2024 from EU, says PM

KYIV, March 1 (Reuters) – Ukraine expects to get 16 billion euros ($17.30 billion) this year from the European Union under its four-year loan facility, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Friday.

Foreign economic aid is critical for Ukraine, which has a $37 billion budget gap this year as the war with Russia enters its third year.
