Ukrainian court upholds order for new parliamentary elections

Ukraine’s Constitutional Court upheld the order given by the new president Volodymyr Zelensky to dissolve parliament and go for general elections.

The elections will be held tomorrow.n

The order calling for a snap election was held on May 20th.

Several members of the Ukrainian Parliament challenged Zelensky’s decision in court, stating that this would cause a constitutional crisis.
