Union demands protection of open centre workers: The Headlines – L-Orizzont

L-Orizzont leads with the arrests at the Ħal Far open centre and says that residents allegedly broke into offices, tearing up documents and setting them on fire. Police officers were met with flung rocks and glass objects.

The paper carries the General Workers Union’s reaction to the Ħal Far riots, calling for better protection of Asylum Agency workers.
