Bin Laden’s son stripped of Saudi’s citizenship after US issued a $1million reward for his capture – Updated

The Independent reports that Hamza bin Laden, the son of former Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, has been stripped of citizenship by Saudi Arabia.

The country’s interior ministry announced the move in a statement after earlier, as Sky News reported, the US government has offered a reward of up to $1m (£754,000) for help locating Osama bin Laden’s son Hamza.

The report was issued via a State Department notice that said the money will be paid as part of its “reward for justice” programme.
