On Monday, a CASA C-101 training plane of the Spanish Air Force on Monday crashed into the Mediterranean Sea, off La Manga coast, Murcia, south-eastern Spain.
According to local authorities, a C-101 type jet of Spanish air force crashed into the sea off the coast of La Manga del Mar Menor coast in Murcia.
In a statement, the Spanish Defense Ministry said the pilot was killed in the incident.
The aircraft was a two-seater C-101, a model used by Spain’s Patrulla Águila aerobatic display team.
