Was Indonesia’s earthquake predicted? Is there a link between the eclipse and the earthquake?

On July 25th, an earthquake predictor said that an earthquake which could be as strong as a devastating seven on the Richter scale could strike somewhere across the globe this weekend. The Express and The Sun, on Thursday and Friday, reported “while stargazers enjoy the dazzling Blood Moon, new age earthquake researcher Frank Hoogerbeets warned a major magnitude 7 quake could strike.”

His website Ditrianum.org issues earthquake warnings when Mr Hoogerbeets thinks the alignments of celestial bodies mean tectonic activity on earth is going to increase.

Mr Hoogerbeets, 49, uses a non-scientifically recognised way of predicting earthquakes based on planetary alignments with Earth, but has built up several followers who are convinced he is right.

His warning was

“On the 15th the Moon started facing the Mercury-Mars electromagnetic resonance, which will last until the 27th. This geometry is similar to that of late April 2016 when a M 7.0 occurred in Vanuatu and a M 6.6 along the Northern East Pacific Rise. A comparison is covered in this video.

A continuation of seismic unrest is expected from the 23rd to the 26th with possibly a low to mid 6 magnitude earthquake.

From the 27th to the 30th will be critical with the potential of a high 6 to 7 magnitude earthquake.

This morning we woke up to the news of the 6.7 earthquake which hit Indonesia.
