Italian news agencies report the launch of the Nutella biscuits, for now only in France.
The biscuits, who had the Maltese shops during 2018, were launched officially on Thursday through a tweet.
It is unclear for now how come these products were available in Malta, prior to their launch.
Industry sources confirmed that there were various instances in the past, where Ferrero used Malta as a test base for its products.
