Watch: Etna erupts again

Mount Etna has erupted again on Saturday.

The phenomenon was preceded and accompanied by a gradual increase in the average amplitude of the volcanic tremor.

An intense explosive phase has also begun, located on top of the new crater, which forms a gaseous plume rich in ash that was pushed by the wind on the eastern quadrants of the volcano.

On-going surveys of land conducted by the experts of the institute of Catania, to follow the eruptive phenomenon still in full evolution.
